Dec 3, 2008 - Once again Pakistan Govt forced to run after IMF. Why? IMF & International Banks meant to loan to the poor countries like Pakistan impose such heavy conditions/rate of interest that eventually it is the common & low paid citizen who suffers. The investor creates inflation in return to the taxes imposed or subsidiaries withdrawn. Pakistans ruling class doesnt stop it lavishness finally being paid by a low paid citizen. How will Pakistan survive with this dogmatism at the govt/ruling class level

Dec 3, 2008 - Typical to the core... An outsider's view u may call it..But right now, Pakistan is in dire need of the money. And u cannot run away from that fact. And this need will not end, if Iran, Russia and Venezuela open an oil exchange based on euro of their own. May be Mr. Hamid is very knowledgeable, but sitting and waiting for the weakening of dollar is not going to help Pakistan in getting rid of the clutches of IMF, that it finds itself in. To fight he system, you have 2 b a part of the system 1st.
