I asked him confused."I'm sorry," he says. They way he said it...really melted my heart. I didn't know what to say after that. I looked down at my notebook...hoping for some answers. I found a doodle of a lion."I'm sorry too," I said looking up. He smiled at me after that. Might I start explaining how gorgeous it was. But before I could process it in my head, he turned around to face the front of the class.Well...it was fun while it lasted. The rest of class he didn't say one word to me. I didn't know if we were friends now. I didn't even introduce myself...well neither did he..but I was sure we both knew who we were. And I couldn't find the guts to say anything else to him after...so I let it go.Lunch was the same. But this time...I looked up at Nick...and saw him looking back. I felt the blood rush to my cheeks as he then smiled at me.
